Chris Jericho Says Storyline With MJF Was The Longest In His Career

Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who competed all over the world over the past three decades. He is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Being veteran in the business, he doesn’t really have much care about what his haters have to say.

For almost a year, Chris Jericho and MJF were engaged in a storyline, dating back to MJF trying to join The Inner Circle all the way to their latest match at AEW All Out.

At the AEW All Out pay-per-view, Chris Jericho put up his in-ring career on the line against MJF. After an intense battle that could have gone either way, Chris Jericho defeated MJF and saved his career.

After the conclusion of his match, Chris Jericho took to Instagram and uploaded a series of photos from his bout with MJF. He then revealed that his storyline with MJF was the longest of his career and also one of the best.

Jericho vs @the_mjf was THE longest storyline of my career…and one of the best. The angle started in Sept of 2020 and it ended last night at one of the greatest PPVs of all time, with the good guy making the bad guy tap out. The angle between the #InnerCircle and #ThePinnacle was full of twists and turns, comedy, tragedy, friendship, betrayal, blood, bubbly and genuine animosity. But overall, I feel it was brilliant, expertly told tale that was one of the best in the business from the last 20 years. I hope all of you enjoyed watching this pro wrestling magnum opus as much we did telling it!!! On to the next challenge…. #AEWAllOut

With Chris Jericho’s storyline with MJF finally over, it remains to be seen what is next in store for Le Champion in the company.
