CM Punk took the pro wrestling world by storm after making his debut on AEW Rampage: The First Dance. In fact, his debut might even make it to Guinness World Records from the looks of it.

Many fans are well aware of the fact that CM Punk has deep love and respect for the classic pro wrestlers who helped shape his own career, including the likes of Bret Hart.

During his AEW All Out match against Darby Allin, CM Punk paid homage to Bret Hart’s instant classic match against 1-2-3 Kid on an episode of Monday Night RAW in 1994. The match recreated several moments from the 1994 classic and many fans noticed it.

It seems even Sean Waltman noticed it as he took to Twitter and stated that he felt honored to have taken part in a match that still influences pro wrestling even today.

Now that CM Punk defeated Darby Allin at AEW All Out, we will have to wait and see what is next in store for him in the company.
