Nikki ASH’s WWE Money In The Bank Win Was Last Minute Decision

Nikki ASH pulled down the Money in the Bank briefcase this year, but she didn’t carry that guaranteed contract for very long at all. She cashed in the very next night on RAW to become Women’s Champion on the red brand, but those plans came together in a hurry.

According to Fightful, who spoke with Nikki ASH, she was not informed of her MITB win until the afternoon of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. She cried upon learning the news. Then she was told the next afternoon that she would win the RAW Women’s Title, and she cried once again.

She cried when she won the Money in the Bank contract, and was told that afternoon that she would win the contract. […] However, upon winning the Money in the Bank contract, she wasn’t told that she’d also be winning the title. Instead, she was informed of that the afternoon of winning the title as well.

We will have to see if Nikki ASH ever makes her way back to the top of the women’s division. Nobody can take that RAW Women’s Title run away from her at this point, no matter how short that reign was.
