WWE cares about their Superstars’ mental health. Following the passing of Daffney, plenty of people are incredibly saddened by the tragic event. The company sent out mass text massage to offer mental health assistance. Former WWE NXT Superstar Jake Atlas can attest to how much the company cares.

Atlas tweeted out to reveal that WWE paid for his therapy. He also claims that they “saved his life” in the process.

I certainly don’t want to make this about me but this is important to speak up about. WWE paid for 6 months of my therapy & quite literally saved my life. Not everything is what it seems. People who are truly suffering from mental illness learn how to to hide it well. Reach out.

WWE gets a lot of grief, because of their corporate practices. They still do a lot of good and are willing to help out in times when it really matters. Jake Atlas might not be employed by WWE anymore, but he will never forget what the company did for him.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
