John Cena carried WWE on his back for decade and he has a lot of stories. The Summer of Cena concluded at SummerSlam, but he will still have time for one more epic chat with the Texas Rattlesnake.

Steve Austin will interview John Cena on the next episode of Broken Skull Sessions, a WWE Network/Peacock original series. The new network schedule lists the episode to air on Sunday, September 26th.

Cena’s name joins a long list of amazing talent including The Undertaker, Goldberg, Kane, Big Show, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, The Godfather, Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, and Bobby Lashley.

We can only imagine that Cena an Austin had a lot to talk about. Few fans would be mad if WWE decided to make his interview a two-parter deal. John Cena apparently sat down with Steve Austin during his last return run, and they were able to shoot the breeze for a bit.

Cena is set to appear when SmackDown returns to Madison Square Garden on Friday, September 10th. It has not been confirmed that Cena will actually appear on television, but he is slated to be at the event. Fans now know for sure that the Summer of Cena will include a nice capper with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
