AEW is making big plans for the future and that includes adding several new members to their roster of talent. Those plans will also include some big trips across the ocean if things work out.

While speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan expressed his desire to bring an AEW show to the U.K. He even has a venue in mind, Fulham in West London where the football club Fulham plays.

“I can’t announce exact dates but I will say for the first time I think I’ve ever said it officially. To give you guys a big scoop on it. I want to bring AEW to Craven Cottage, very much so. Craven Cottage is very special to me. We put a lot into the development, the redevelopment of the Riverside Stand and the new Craven Cottage with all of the new amenities and facilities and the beautiful additions I think would be the best home in England possible for AEW.”

The pandemic messed up a lot of plans over the last year, including AEW’s goal to bring Fyter Fest to the U.K. They will have other opportunities and it is everyone’s hope that the pandemic will clear up enough so that kind of trip can happen.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
