Women’s wrestling, in general, has undergone massive growth and developed a lot of depth over the years, with various pro wrestling companies all over the world embracing how talented women wrestlers can be. Triple H previously stated that WWE has the best women’s division in the world, which led to a lot of backlash.

While the AEW women’s division certainly needs a lot of work, there are still talented performers in the division, including the likes of Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa.

On WWE’s side, Charlotte Flair is one of the best in-ring female WWE Superstars in the company and has competed in the most historic matches for female talents in WWE.

While speaking to Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, Charlotte Flair was asked about competition between pro wrestling companies. Flair stated that she welcomes the competition and then declared that WWE has the best women’s division in pro wrestling.

“Competition breeds competition. If there’s no one out there to go up against, it’s kinda like, ‘What are we fighting for?’ No, you want to fight to be number one. So to me, the better they do, the better we do. The better we do, the better they do. That’s what it is. That’s how it is in the ring. No one should want anybody to fail, nobody should talk down… I mean every company is different but to me I’m still gonna say ‘we are the best women’s division and there’s only one queen in wrestling.’ So I challenge anybody else in the world, if you think you’re better, try me.”

Charlotte Flair won the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam as she defeated Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. It will be interesting to see how Charlotte Flair’s current reign will be booked in the coming weeks.
