AEW will hold All Out in Chicago on September 5th, and fans will need to mask up in the building. A new statewide mask mandate was issued meaning that All Out will be a mask required performance.

Fans planning to attend the upcoming AEW All Out pay-per-view event on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from Chicago, Illinois at Now Arena will have to be wearing masks at the show as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the state.

AEW Rampage produced The First Dance during a mask mandate last week. There were also several fans seen on screen without masks.

On Thursday, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued a statewide indoor mask mandate. This new mandate will start on Monday, August 30th. All Out will take place right as that mask mandate kicks off.

That being said, WWE produced SummerSlam in Las Vegas during a mask mandate, and fans were clearly seen on screen without masks on throughout the entire show. We’ll have to see if AEW fans obey the rules better at All Out.

The COVID-19 pandemic isn’t going away, and more precautions need to be taken into consideration from this point on. Hopefully, these extra measures help slow the spread of this terrible virus.
