Bray Wyatt didn’t make it to SummerSlam, but that didn’t stop fans from chanting his name. Security in Allegiant Stadium was also on high alert for any signs of the Eater of Worlds. Wyatt’s possible AEW debut gives WWE another great reason to be proactive and keep his name off their television product.

Wyatt reacted to sign of The Fiend that made it on screen during the SummerSlam kickoff show match. That fan sign didn’t last very long in the crowd.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how WWE treated Bray Wyatt signs during SummerSlam. They didn’t want to see them in the crowd, but one made its way onto screen. It didn’t take them long to yank that sign from the fan who brought it into Allegiant Stadium.

“Did you hear they were confiscating Wyatt stuff? There was a big Wyatt sign that I saw during the Big E and Baron Corbin match and then they panned away really quick. I was told they took it from the guy, which actually, I was told, got heated, but the guy did eventually give it up.”

Bray Wyatt is no longer with WWE, because the company fired him. They might be able to take signs away from fans, but WWE can do little to stop “WE WANT WYATT” chants from blasting their television show, especially when Alexa Bliss is around.
