WWE jumped into the podcasting game with both feet as they started several shows in quick fashion. Now the company has a new podcasting partner and they are thrilled to bring this news to fans. New Day: Feel The Power, After The Bell, and more shows are now part of a multi-year deal with Bill Simmons’ The Ringer and Spotify studios.

The company announced today that they will launch an exclusive audio network with The Ringer as part of Spotify. This new deal will see them develop new, original, content and it will be exclusive to the Spotify streaming platform and Ringer website.

This new partnership will also include The Ringer “expanding its existing wrestling coverage.” The current “The Masked Man Show” with David Shoemaker and Kaz will rebrand itself to “The Ringer Wrestling Show” which will now air alongside WWE content. Evan Mack, of WWE The Bump, will get a show called “MackMania” as well.

WWE President Nick Khan was very excited about this new deal. He has spearheaded many arrangements for the company in recent memory, including that 7-figure deal to bring zombies to WrestleMania Backlash. He put over the deal in a big way and praised Bill Simmons, who founded The Ringer.

“Bill and his team at The Ringer consistently find ways to create premium content that drives conversation and appeals to fans of sports, entertainment and pop culture. We believe this collaboration will deliver a podcast slate that excites existing fans while also introducing WWE content to the millions of Spotify listeners.”

We will have to see what happens down the line, and this new deal will likely lead to even more content for pro wrestling fans. There are already a ton of podcasts, but WWE isn’t going to let that marketplace go without having the biggest presence possible.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
