AEW is always looking for more talent and Vince McMahon himself said that WWE might be able to give them more. NXT made several cuts in recent memory, and that included Ever-Rise. It didn’t take them very long at all to end up on AEW television. Now they have apparently signed with the company.

Chris Jericho invited 2.0 on his Talk is Jericho podcast for a chat. During the conversation, it was revealed that Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, formerly Chase Parker and Matt Martel, have signed AEW contracts.

Le Champion confirmed on his podcast that the former Ever-Rise have inked deals with AEW. They are not just extras, and the two are likely to receive a good spotlight with the company. He called them “AEW’s newest tag team” in the process.

Jericho noted that they didn’t get a chance to talk about the team’s AEW signing during the interview because it hasn’t been reported yet. He also claimed to have never met 2.0 prior to their interview and he had them on the show as a favor to Kevin Owens. 2.0 and Owens go back a long way from their time in the Canadian indie scene.
