WWE’s NXT brand is going through a shift and it appears that the black and gold brand won’t be the same in a very short matter of time. This caused a huge blow to morale, but the bad vibes didn’t start with the release.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the were “hits to morale” long before this week’s mass releases. Female talent are specially concerned at this point as they voiced concerns about their own future booking in the company when Johnny Ace was placed back in a talent relations role.

Hits to morale happened well before this past weekend’s releases, with female WWE talent speaking to Fightful about their concerns for the future of their booking, as well as who would be hired to work with them, once Johnny Ace was put back in his talent relations spot.

It was noted that there was a noticeable shift in momentum when it comes to morale since the pandemic started. A lot of things have taken place around NXT and it appears that those changes are only going to continue.
