John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. From 2017 John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. That could change after SummerSlam.

Cena made his return at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view last month and since then has appeared on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown. The Summer of Cena has been quite a wild ride so far.

John Cena is set to square off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. Many fans have been wondering if Cena will stay long after the pay-per-view.

While speaking to Jeff Conway of Forbes, John Cena was asked if he will be staying after the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. John Cena made it clear that he will be sticking around for longer if he wins the WWE Universal Title from Roman Reigns.

“Man, never say never about the WWE. Like I said, I had a month to myself and here I am back in a ring. So maybe if I get another month to catch my breath, I’ll hopefully make another visit back. I’m going to have to defend that championship that I win from Roman somehow (winks)!”

We will have to wait and see how his match against Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam will be booked as we approach the pay-per-view and if he will end up winning the match or not.
