AEW is known to drop money on their wrestlers’ theme song. Orange Cassidy, Jon Moxley, Jungle Boy, and others received songs that Tony Khan licensed. They also dropped a huge chunk of change on a song last week during Dynamite.

During Being the Elite this week, The Young Bucks revealed that it cost them $50,000 to license the song they used at Fight For The Fallen. The “Ya’ll Ready For This?” song was from the Space Jam movie, and that doesn’t come cheap.

The Elite needed that arena pumping anthem to gear them up for their match against Hangman Page and The Dark Order. That extra cost for music must have helped put them over, because The Elite won the match.

AEW is down to drop a ton of money when they want something, but there is a limit. Chris Jericho revealed that the price AC/DC wanted for “Back in Black” was astronomical, so it was a no-go. Obviously, $50k isn’t too much for them to spend.
