WWE is in the practice of firing people and that hasn’t stopped in recent memory. They are obviously not afraid to let someone go who was previously at the top of the company, including Senior Vice President of Talent Development Canyon Ceman.

The company officially announced that Ceman was let go this this week, but it was reported some time ago. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that they were told at the time that Canyon Ceman was “gone, but not officially” and “the announcement would be made in a few weeks.” That time came in recent memory as news broke that Ceman is no longer with the company.

We were told he is gone, but not officially, but the announcement would be in a few weeks, and essentially it was. It broke again this past week. Numerous company sources reported it, but the company would not confirm it until finally on 7/25 they confirmed it to us that this time he really was gone

It was also reported that Cami Levin, WWE Talent Manager, who had been with the company since 2019 was also released. She was axed along with Canyon Ceman.

John Laurinaitis received a lot more responsibility backstage with those firings. Now we will have to see how it turns out for Johnny Ace this time around. Canyon Ceman’s firing came as a bit of a surprise as well. He was not disliked like Mark Carrano at all, in fact, awful stories about Carrano are still coming out of the woodwork to this day.
