Jeff Jarrett is still with WWE despite a recent report from What Culture saying otherwise. He has a unique deal with the company on a non-exclusive basis.

Michael Morales Torres of Lucha Libre Online confirmed that Jeff Jarrett is still with WWE. He is working with the company in a capacity that is not typical, but he has not left Vince McMahon’s umbrella at this time.

It is reported that “both parties are very happy” with this arrangement. Jeff Jarrett is able to take indie bookings and continue his “My World with Jeff Jarrett” podcast on AdFreeShows.

Jarrett is taking indie bookings, so that part of the original report is correct. However, he is still with WWE with a non exclusive deal. It is not typical for WWE to extend this type of arrangement as most people are exclusive to the company, but this situation was worked out between Double J and WWE.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
