CM Punk cut an epic promo during the June 27, 2011 episode of WWE RAW that will live on as “the pipe bomb promo.” Many fans can recite that promo by memory, and MJF might be among those people.

Chris Jericho beat Nick Gage in a crazy death match on AEW Dynamite. Light tubes, a pizza cutter, chairs, and a pane of glass was used as a weapon. Jericho withstood all that punishment and he won the match after a Judas Effect.

MJF was on commentary and he came out to tell Jericho about his third Labour Of Jericho. He must face Juventud Guerrera next week, and he has to win with a move off the top rope.

The Salt Of The Earth picked very interesting words during the beginning of that promo. He started it just like CM Punk did as John Cena was laying in the ring. It was an obvious nod to CM Punk’s arrival, and it seems that AEW is having some fun with things. Plenty of fans noticed as well and they took to social media.

Darby Allin also pretty much called out CM Punk during a backstage promo as well. This will be a very interesting time for AEW’s history.
