WWE likes to lock down any name uttered on their television show and this includes one of the biggest rising stars in Hollywood, John Cena. The 16x World Champion will make his return to the ring at SummerSlam, and a Summer of Cena tour is also planned. WWE needs to be ready.

The company filed a trademark for John Cena’s new trademark “Earn The Day.” That is getting slapped on his new merchandise. This will likely be a phrase that WWE incorporates along with Cena’s other phrases that have been phased out over the years.

Now Earn The Day will join Hustle Loyalty Respect and You Can’t See Me. Only time will tell if Earn The Day will earn as much cash as those previous catchphrases.

This new trademark gives WWE the ability to put the phrase on tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, pajamas; clothing ties and many more items. Odds are the new trademark will end up on a Christmas sweater this Holiday season as well.
