Nick Gage is regarded as The King by many fans, but Jim Cornette is probably not going to be in line to buy a MDK t-shirt any time soon. He took a shot at AEW for bringing the legendary deathmatch wrestler in.

Jim Cornette is not afraid to sling shade at Tony Khan’s company. He had lot to say about the fact that someone rushed the ring in his name. He denounced that rogue fan, but Corny also had something to say about bringing in Nick Gage.
To once and for all put an end to criminals and felons jumping into their ring on live TV, @AEW has arrived at a solution: BOOK a criminal and convicted felon to actually come to the ring and attempt to have a match! Genius!
Gage went to prison for robbing a bank, and that is 100% true. His Dark Side of the Ring episode detailed the entire situation. We’ll have to see what he brings to Dynamite next week as he faces Chris Jericho in a no rules match, but Le Champion will also bring back the Painmaker persona for that match. Odds are Nick Gage is not scared, nor is Jim Cornette impressed.
