Tony Khan just bought out Thunder Rosa’s contract from the NWA. This was a situation that they needed to deal with carefully, because contracts are sometimes difficult waters to navigate.

According to Fightful Select, Tony Khan is being very careful to not get caught tampering with contracts. It was also reported that Khan and NWA owner Billy Corgan have been working with each other directly.
