Keith Lee surprised fans on Raw this week when he came out instead of Goldberg to accept Bobby Lashley’s open challenge. This will not be a one-off appearance for the Limitless Lee.
Lee posted cryptic messages in the past months about his status. He promised to let fans know why he wasn’t around, but then admitted the way he wanted to do it was rejected. That left fans with even more questions.
PW Insider reports that Keith Lee was “cleared” for a return to action. This means that the reason he was off television had nothing to do with a creative situation at all. It is still unknown what the exact reason for his absence was.
Lee’s appearance last night was not planned as a a one and deal sort of deal.
We are told he has been “cleared” to return to performing, so whatever was keeping him off was not a creative decision.
Keith Lee lost to Bobby Lashley, but he still stood toe-to-toe with the WWE Champion, giving him a tough opponent in the process. Lee’s return was then seemingly overshadowed by Goldberg showing up and making it clear that Lashley is next.
Lee has a ton of supporters, and he will get to perform in front of them now as WWE hits the road. Hopefully, he can do so without any more extended hiatuses.
