Charlotte Flair is a very good heel and she wanted some extra heat in that match against Rhea Ripley. She flipped the bird, but nobody at home saw it.

Fans watching on Peacock saw the screen go to blackout mode when to hear the crowd erupt into a heated boo. Some thought it was a wardrobe malfunction, but that was not the case. The company elected to black out the entire screen when Charlotte Flair gave Fort Worth fans the middle finger.

Did they really black out the screen over a middle finger?” one fan quipped. “Wait. Did they legit try to black out Charlotte flipping the bird?” asked another astonished fan.

Flair’s vulgar gesture didn’t stop the “We Want Becky” chants from ringing out. She didn’t like that at all.

The thing is that WWE messed up their timing and ended up showing Flair flying the bird anyway. Things have certainly changed for WWE, a company that used to feature about 50 middle fingers from Steve Austin per broacast.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
