Andrade El Idolo Claims He’s The Only One Who Can Rescue Alberto Del Rio From ‘The Grave He’s In’

Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as he made his debut in AEW last month after being introduced by Vickie Guerrero.

Andrade El Idolo is also set to square off against Alberto Del Rio and Carlito at an indie wrestling event on July 31st in Texas.

Ahead of the match, Andrade El Idolo took to Twitter and took a shot at Alberto Del Rio, stating that he is the only one who can rescue Del Rio from being irrelevant.

“I went to your summary @PrideOfMexico And I realized that you are 44 years old and I am 31 years old, I achieved more things at this age and I still have 13 years to go to achieve much more. You know that I am the only rival who can rescue you from the grave in which you find yourself. See you on the 31st.”

Both Alberto Del Rio and Andrade El Idolo are two of the most popular pro wrestlers from Mexico. We will have to what happens when they meet inside the squared circle for the first time later this month.
