WWE has been releasing quite a few Superstars and members of staff since April of this year and fans were worried that the cuts will continue.

On April 15, several WWE Superstars were released including the likes of Mickie James and Mojo Rawley. Since then Mojo Rawley has been determined to show fans different side of himself.

Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona, who was known as Zack Ryder in the company, used to be a team with Mojo Rawley in WWE. They were known as the Hype Bros. The two teamed up together for two years as they broke up on Friday Night SmackDown in 2017.

While speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Mojo Rawley talked about the Hype Bros and them breaking up. Rawley stated that everyone knew they were going to break up as they prefaced it for months.

“I can’t remember whose idea it was. It was mine or Vince’s I think. Zack got hurt and I had my singles run, I had a good stretch there. Zack came back and we teamed up again. Everyone knew we were going to break up because we prefaced it for months. But I don’t I think anyone knew who was going to turn on who. We didn’t really know either. Then the thought came down to have me do the heel turn and I was all for it. I know they wanted me to get as far from the hype persona as possible, they didn’t want me to mention the word hype at all. We had a good run there.”

Mojo Rawley landed role in the new Snake Eyes GI Joe film and it is likely he will be acting in more films as Rawley wants to become the next Rock. We will have to see what is next in store for Rawley.
