Terry Funk is a legend in pro wrestling, but he is sadly not doing too well. According to Don Muraco, he is currently living in an assisted living facility and suffering from dementia. He was given this information by Scott Casey.

During Don Muraco’s Magnificent Podcast, Muraco discussed many subjects. While talking about Japan, Terry Funk came to mind, because Funk considered Japan his territory for years. Muraco brought up Terry Funk and he had some very sad news to deliver about 77-year-old pro wrestling legend’s current health status.

“I heard that Terry Funk is in a home and disabled for dementia. Yeah. I spoke with Scott Casey over the weekend. I guess he’s all the way down in Amarillo, Texas. So I don’t know. I know his wife passed away two or three years ago. I don’t know who he’s with or what’s going on.”

We are hoping for the best in this situation. Terry Funk is a treasure in the pro wrestling community, known for his tenacious style and sharp personality. Sadly, if this report is true he is suffering from dementia and not doing too well.
