AEW has a lot of people on their roster, but they don’t all get screen time every week. It’s been a while since fans saw Mel, but she’s apparently still with the company.

Mel was written off AEW television after the Nightmare Collective, Brandi Rhodes’ stable, was disbanded. It’s been a while since she was seen, but Fightful Select has an update on her.

At this time Mel “isn’t factored into imminent creative plans.” AEW has also not returned any inquiries about her current contract status, but the company generally ignores those requests.

It was also noted that Mel’s career outside of the pro wrestling business has been doing very well. It was not noted what her day job is, but she is “doing well outside of wrestling.”

We’ll have to see if AEW brings Mel back for an angle down the line. It seems that the two sides might have gone their separate ways for now, but that doesn’t mean she will never return.

What’s your take on AEW’s booking and all of their stables? Sound off in the comments!
