WWE was planning to air another Icons documentary, this time featuring Lex Luger. Now that seems to be up in the air.

We previously covered how WWE set the video for Lex Luger’s Icons special to a private setting. It was previously a trailer for the upcoming documentary, but then it was pulled from public viewing without any reason.

Wrestling Inc reports that the WWE Icons documentary for Lex Luger will not be airing on Sunday, July 4th as planned. It was reported that it was delayed so “it can be supported by a stronger lead-in program.”

As of this writing we have not heard when WWE plans to air the Lex Luger special. It will likely see the light of day since they produced the documentary. People like Sting, Bret Hart, Bruce Prichard, Ric Flair, Jim Cornette, and more sat down for the special.
