Eddie Kingston made his AEW debut back in July of last year, where he faced off against Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship. While he was unsuccessful in the match, Kingston impressed many and signed with the company.

Kingston quickly cemented himself as one of the best talkers in AEW as his promos are known to be from the heart and very natural. He is also very passionate when it comes to the pro wrestling world.

After the conclusion of last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston cut a scathing promo from the heart, taking multiple shots at WWE in the process. This was appreciated by many fans and pro wrestlers alike. However, not everyone liked what Eddie Kingston said.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray and Ryan McKinnell talked about Eddie Kingston’s promo. Bully Ray stated that Eddie Kingston needs to ‘shut the f*** up and stay in his lane.

“Eddie Kingston needs to shut the f*ck up and stay in his lane. And his lane is as an AEW guy speaking about AEW and flying the flag for AEW, then I’m on completely on board. Tell me why that you were an indie guy for the majority of your career. Now this company took a chance on you, and you have learned to love it and everything about it. Now I’m on board, Eddie, but to take the easy way out and knock the WWE, there’s no reason to go there. If Cody wants to destroy a throne, I get it. If Jericho wants to say, Eff you, I got it. Eddie, why? There’s no reason for Eddie to say it.”

Regardless of what others think, Eddie Kingston will speak from his heart and say what is on his mind. Eddie Kingston is set to team up with Penta El Zero as they are set to square off against The Young Bucks in a non-title match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We will have to see if they will be able to beat The Young Bucks or not.
