Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.
Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as he made his debut in AEW earlier this month after being introduced by Vickie Guerrero.
During his time in WWE, Andrade El Idolo was managed by Zelina Vega back in 2017 and had a very successful pairing in the company. While speaking to Lucha Libre Online, Andrade El Idolo stated that he would love to have Zelina Vega make her way to AEW.
“I would love it if she was with me. I cannot speak about it that extendedly due to multiple stuff going on, but I would love it if she joined soon or in a close future.”
Andrade has yet to make his in-ring debut in AEW, but that is likely to be done soon enough. We will have to see who his first opponent will be and if Zelina Vega will ever make her way to AEW.
