WWE is hitting the road after a long time out of commission due to the pandemic. This will bring the action back to live fans, and the company has announced a few main events to entice fans into dropping money for a ticket for the show.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how WWE has booked Bobby Lashley and MVP to team up in a tag match to take on Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston. This is an interesting booking.

It was noted that August 7th and 8th will see that main event on the house show. Both of those shows are in Florida. There was no note about what Xavier Woods will be doing since Kofi is tagging with McIntyre without him. As we previously reported, Woods might be going on an extended break.

“The show they announced it for is still two months away. There’s going to be other shows with other main events, but one house show main event that was advertised is Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston vs. MVP and Bobby Lashley. That’s closer to six weeks away, I wonder what they’ll do on the SmackDown side.”

WWE is getting a lot of excitement with their return to touring. MVP will apparently be ready for action by then and they’re putting him in the main event alongside The All Mighty WWE Champion.
