Mandy Rose and Otis had one of the most intriguing storylines going on SmackDown for a while. Tucker was in the mix as well, but they dropped the angle and split everyone up instead. According to Tucker, they asked for much more to do as a trio.

Tucker was then moved to RAW, but unlike Mandy Rose he didn’t get much screen time at all. He was later released and is now waiting out his 90-day non-compete clause.

While talking to Wrestle Talk, the former Tucker revealed that they put in several requests for WWE to put them in a stable. There were a ton of ideas floating around, but WWE decided to ignore that pitch.

“I also think there’s no reason why me and Otis and Mandy shouldn’t have had a run together as the three of us. We pushed that on multiple occasions, there’s so many things we could do backstage there of a brother getting his other brother ready for different dates with a girl that’s out of his league. And that story, for there not to be a payoff for that story, is more egregious than the me and Otis thing, 100 times more egregious.”

“It was one of their top three stories of the pandemic in my opinion for audience buy-in. There were so many people, and not just people who normally watch wrestling, that were so invested in this story. Because it’s the everyday man story – who can’t get behind this big lovable guy and this really hot chick? It was great, it was great. And then, especially because they turned him heel anyways, so just have him turn on her then?

WWE makes a lot of very interesting decisions. The recent wave of releases didn’t seem to take creative ideas into consideration either. We’ll be watching for Tucker to make his mark in another pro wrestling company, but WWE didn’t seem to give him much after Heavy Machinery’s split.

What’s your take on Tucker’s treatment in WWE? How would you have booked him? Sound off in the comments!
