WWE was rumored to be making cuts today and some roster releases might be a part of that. Now we have two roster cuts to report, and they are both from the 205 Live brand.

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE has released Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese from their contracts. It was not made clear if more releases are to be expected.

WWE already released Kenice Mobley, citing an “internal concern,” whatever that means. More releases could be coming today.

President Nick Khan was the one pulling for those releases in a meeting this afternoon. It’s not clear why Daivari and Nese were specifically cut, but their contracts might have been higher than others on the 205 Live brand. Those will be two big cuts to take for that brand, but the indie wrestling world could also benefit.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
