Fandango’s journey through WWE is now done. His name was included in the list of releases that went through today.

Fandango is not alone in the releases today. Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, and Ever Rise were all cut as well as writer Kenice Mobley. It is unclear what reason which reason was given to talent at this point, but Mobley was told she was fired over “internal concerns.”

According to Sean Sapp, Fandango has been cut. He was last a part of Breezango, and held the NXT Tag Team Titles alongside Tyler Breeze. Prior to entering WWE, Fandango was known as Johnny Curtis. It has been quite a while since he went by that name. He could very well be called that again on the indies.

Fandango has a ton of talent and could benefit an number of companies. He has already tweeted out in response to his release, thanking WWE for the time he had with them. “Thank you @VinceMcMahon @TripleH @StephMcMahon Thank you for the last 14 years. I truly appreciate it!”

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
