WWE released several people today from their contracts, but there could be more. Company President Nick Khan called for those cuts today during a meeting, and several more names could be up for release.

As of this writing, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Ever Rise, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, August Grey, and writer Kenice Mobley were all cut. Accordfing to a new report fromFightful, more cuts could be coming.

It was reported that they decided to make “numerous cuts” today.” Some names that were on the list of people set to be fired were not released today. That could mean a couple of things.

Multiple names that we’ve heard were set to be released have not yet. However, there were several names that ended up getting released that we hadn’t heard about prior, and at times this year wrestlers have been “saved” from the chopping block.

We will have to see when WWE decides to release more talent. They are likely to do just that as the company seeks to create a lower bottom line for investors. The reason that the company gave is still unclear, but “budget cuts” was very likely a part of the explanation.
