Brock Lesnar did not return at Hell in a Cell, and it looks like fans shouldn’t expect his return any time soon. He is currently not in the company’s creative plan at all.

Ringside News asked around after a report came out saying that Brock Lesnar and WWE are in talks. The general idea was that WWE would have Lesnar return imminently if they had their way about things.

We were told that Brock Lesnar’s name wasn’t on a list of proposed names for the upcoming WWE Draft. When his name came up in conversation, we were told that “it was made clear ‘there are no plans with Brock. We’re not even in discussions.'”

Brock Lesnar and WWE could always come to an agreement later on, but it doesn’t look like it will come together any time soon. If should also be noted that the WWE Draft is slated for the last week of August into the first week of September, so WWE is not planning for Lesnar’s return even that far out.

Brock Lesnar’s name is bound to move the needle in terms of viewership. but he also doesn’t come cheap. We’re not sure why the two sides are not talking but there is no momentum between WWE and the Beast Incarnate at this juncture.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
