WWE has a lot of plans for Las Vegas in August. They might not be running the NXT TakeOver event there, because that is scheduled for August 22nd in Orlando, but the company has added another interesting event to the calendar.

The company will hold tryouts in Las Vegas prior to SummerSlam. This will give the company an opportunity to see some talent who might live farther out West.

A multi-day talent tryout will be held in Las Vegas as part of Summerslam Week. The company made an announcement that said this tryout will give elite male and female athletes and performers the opportunity to showcase their abilities with the goal of being selected to begin training at the state-of-the-art WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.”

WWE is currently accepting applications for this tryout. You can find more information on the official Performance Center website. The site is set up with step-by-step instructions on how to apply.

SummerSlam will take over Allegiant Stadium on August 21st. That Saturday event is also reported to include John Cena vs Roman Reigns. That will be a big night for WWE, but the company is always looking for that next crop of Superstars.
