Xia Li Told Triple H Her Family Would Disown Her If She Moved To America

Every WWE Superstar has a story about their journey to the company. Xia Li’s story involved sacrificing a lot more than most.

During the TakeOver conference call, Triple H opened up about Xia Li’s story. She went through a lot and followed her dream to become a WWE Superstar. Her performance at NXT TakeOver: In Your House was a big notch for her career.

Triple H revealed that when she appeared at the tryout in China, her family did not know she went to the tryout. She said that her family would disown her if she went to America to join WWE.

Xia Li then told her family that she was following her passion and she moved to the United States. Triple H spoke about her journey further and about how she even cried after wrestling at the Mae Young Classic four years ago.

The pressure can be a lot to handle and Triple H even said that Xia Li was having some trouble with her entrance during today’s rehearsals. She was able to pull it together and more than execute live.

Xia Li’s journey in WWE is just gaining real momentum and there is no telling how far she will go in the company as a whole.
