WWE is planning a huge SummerSlam even in Las Vegas on August 21st. They want to fill Allegiant Stadium and Brock Lesnar’s name could certainly help them sell tickets. The issue is that a match many fans expect for him doesn’t seem to be on the way.

While speaking on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE was not currently planning Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley. That dream match might have to wait, but they can always call the Beast Incarnate if Vince McMahon feels like backing a money truck up to his house.

“As of a week ago, Lesnar and Lashley was not on (the SummerSlam card). Now, it can always change. They can always call him. They can always offer him money, he will do it. Again, it’s up to Vince but they had not made the call a week ago. And I know there’s forces there that don’t want Lesnar there until it’s a feud with Reigns.”

Bobby Lashley has made it known for years that he wants a match against Brock Lesnar. On the other hand, Lesnar doesn’t really do interviews, so he hasn’t spoken about any desire to lock horns with the All Mighty.

Lesnar recently re-appeared on the WWE roster page, meaning that he could have inked a new deal. He has yet to appear once again, but live crowds returning could open up a great opportunity to gain an organic reaction with a huge pop from those fans.
