Miro joined AEW and started his journey with the company, but his wife could join him down the line. Her recent WWE release made that even more possible. The big question is whether Tony Khan is interested in putting Miro and CJ Perry together on AEW programming.

During AEW Dynamite this week, Miro made a reference to how hot his wife is. This was the first real time he acknowledged Lana on Dynamite and the timing was certainly on purpose. Miro would like to see his wife join him on the road after AEW starts touring again.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was discussing the current pro wrestling landscape when he made an off-handed remark about Miro’s attempt to get AEW to bring his wife in with him.

“Rusev was trying to get her in, you could tell from that promo he’s trying to get her in. You know, more power to him, they had a great act.”

Miro and CJ Perry could certainly be a big act in AEW, but they might not get too many boos depending on the circumstances. Many fans found new respect for Lana after witnessing her constant attempts to become a better pro wrestler as WWE continued to throw her through announce tables on a weekly basis. Odds are AEW wouldn’t take that path in booking her.

We’ll have to see what’s next for everyone involved. Lana’s non-compete clause with WWE won’t be up for some time. In the meantime, Miro might continue planting the seeds to get AEW to make his wife an offer.
