WWE released six Superstars from the main roster today, and that was a big shock for everyone involved. Fans even took to Twitter as they made Vince McMahon’s name trend outta nowhere like an RKO.

According to Fightful Select, the WWE releases certainly shook up the roster. Ruby Riott was regarded as “universally popular” backstage and she was commended for her hard work.

Buddy Murphy was also praised for his work ethic. Despite WWE not having him in their “creative forecast,” he still showed up and was ready to work. There were some pitches for Murphy to reunite with Wesley Blake prior to his April release. Now Murphy has been cut as well.

Riott was universally popular backstage, and commended for her hard work often. Much of the same case with Buddy Murphy, who we’re told was not in the “creative forecast for WWE” of late.

It was not noted whether Buddy Murphy requested his release from the company, but some fired Superstars reportedly wanted to get let go. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see all of the recent releases appear elsewhere as WWE just put six big names into the free agent pool.

We will continue monitoring this ongoing situation here at Ringside News.
