WWE set up a few things for Hell in a Cell during this weeks’ episode of RAW. Memorial Day also included a segment where a veteran such as Jaxson Ryker was turned on by Elias. That broke up their team, but the two are not done working with each other.

Elias cut a scathing promo on Jaxson Ryker after he turned on him during their RAW Tag Team Title match. He said that he didn’t want to be in the same car with Jaxson for any long road trips. That seemed as good of a reason as any for that heel turn.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that those two will feud. It was stated that Elias’ backstage promo was intended to, “set up his great feud with Elias.”

We’ll have to see how WWE portrays this storyline in the weeks to come. It certainly appeared that Jaxson Ryker will b positioned as a babyface against The Drifter’s heel persona.
