Impact Wrestling is preparing for Slammiversary and they have already teased the arrival of former WWE Superstars through video hype video. It turned out that the company is trying hard to secure a few of those recently released stars.

WWE cut ten main roster Superstars on April 15th. They would be ready for action without any non-compete clause by Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event on Saturday, July 17th.

According to Fightful Select, Impact Wrestling has reached out to “multiple WWE releases from this past April.” It was not noted who they have contacted at this point.

Last year Impact Wrestling brought in the Good Brothers and Brian Myers. Matt Cardona followed them, as did did EC3. Impact Wrestling could be an attractive landing pad for some of those Superstars looking to reestablish themselves.

Impact Wrestling’s teaser for Slammiversary featured the IIconics, Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green, Daniel Bryan, and Mickie James. We’ll have to see who shows up in Impact Wrestling in a couple of months. Obviously, Daniel Bryan wasn’t released as his contract expired.
