WWE Planning ‘Several’ More NXT Call-Ups To RAW & SmackDown

WWE just called up Rick Boogs to the main roster during SmackDown last week. He will now be Shinsuke Nakamura’s lead guitarist. More could be on the way to the main roster.

WWE’s NXT brand just went through some cuts. Velveteen Dream was among those and he just spoke out against the accusations that were against him, finally breaking his silence on the matter.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is about to make some more room in NXT by calling up stars to the main roster. Ric Boogs is apparently only the first. It was reported that several people were informed about additional call-ups to RAW and SmackDown. This will involve NXT and NXT UK talent.

There are plans for additional call-ups to Raw and Smackdown, including talent from both NXT and NXT UK.

It was reported that talent in NXT have been “speculating among themselves” in recent weeks about who will get called up next. At this point “multiple” call-ups are planned, but it is unclear exactly how many we’re talking about.
