Tony Khan Donates $10k To Cezar Bononi’s GoFundMe

Cezar Bononi and his wife’s struggles to get her leukemia treatment have been well documented. The pandemic caused big issue getting their donor over from Brazil. He needed help and his AEW family came through in a big way.

A GoFundMe was opened for Cezar’s wife. This money is to help cover her treatments during this difficult time. Tony Khan dropped two $5k donations and Cody Rhodes donated a grand as well. As you can see in the graphic below, Lance Archer also gave $300 for the cause.

Following this big string of donations, Cezar tweeted out saying: “AEW is family.”

That extra help allowed Cezar’s wife’s GoFundMe to pass its goal. As of this writing, they have raised $15,589 of the $15,000 requested.

This campaign received some major focus as well. AEW stars retweeted a link to it, and so did UFC legend Jon Jones. Now Cezar’s family can breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to where the money is coming from that they need for her treatments.
