Drake Wuertz was released from his WWE contracts. This cam after months of him making unfounded claims related to QAnon conspiracy theories, many of which were about masks and the pandemic. Now Wuertz is already set for his in-ring return.

Everyone who was released from NXT was under a 30 day non-compete clause. It was previously reported the Wuertz was already messaging people and looking for work. It didn’t take him long at all to secure a booking.

The former NXT referee is now Drake Younger once again. He posted on Instagram to let fans know that he’s going “Back to his Younger days.” He is getting back in the ring on June 26th in Orlando.

Low Ki and Matt Morgan are also a part of this event. Drake Younger said that this event is “for a great cause.” The money for this event is going to Operation Underground Railroad, an organization which claims to stop child trafficking.

Younger was known as a deathmatch wrestler prior to entering WWE. We will have to see if he gets back into that style of match. It was not noted who Drake Younger will be facing in his match, but he’s likely to be a huge babyface with that crowd.

What do you think about Drake’s return to the ring? Sound off in the comments.
