Dax Harwood Claims He Was Drunk When He Tweeted About Quitting AEW

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are undoubtedly one of the best tag teams in the world right now. FTR quickly established themselves as a top team after their arrival in AEW. They are former AEW World Tag Team Champions but it has been a long time since they were in the tag team title scene.

Dax Harwood recently stated he ‘quit’ the pro wrestling business after Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley were given the opportunity to face off against The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Many fans were genuinely concerned about Dax Harwood and reached out to him after his tweet. Harwood took to Twitter and clarified what he said, claiming that the FTR member had too much wine when he posted that tweet and thanked fans for the support.

“I was hacked. I do not quit the wrestling business. Thanks for all the outpour of support. By “hacked” I mean I had too much wine.”

FTR will be taking part in the Stadium Stampede match as part of Pinnacle as they face off against The Inner Circle at Double Or Nothing on May 30. We will have to see if FTR will get an AEW Tag Team Title shot after the pay-per-view.
