WWE wasn’t able to make it back to Saudi Arabia again in 2020, and they haven’t been able to take that long plane ride since then. Things are going to change very soon.

The company’s corporate jet took off and made their first international trip since the pandemic recently. Their destination was the Middle East. It was also previously reported what the likely site of WWE’s next Saudi Arabian event will be.

It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are both making $75 million each to fight on August 14th in Saudi Arabia. Dave Meltzer followed that information up by saying that big boxing event means that WWE is going to come back by the end of the year as well.

“The big thing with Joshua and Fury is that their date is August 14th and it’s in Saudi Arabia. So, if Saudi Arabia is willing to bring them in, then that means they are gonna bring WWE in before the end of the year.”

Nothing has been officially announced about a return to Saudi Arabia yet. WWE always books the biggest shows that money can buy for those shows, sometimes overshadowing other pay-per-views booked around the same time. We’ll have to see what the future holds, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see WWE load their Superstars into another international flight to KSA by the end of 2021.

What big match do you want to see booked in Saudi Arabia next time? Sound off in the comments!
