WWE Announces Hell In A Cell For June, Breaking Yearly October Tradition

During WrestleMania Backlash, WWE announced their next pay-per-view event. It was not one that fans were expecting at all. Where many fans were thinking that the next pay-per-view would be something else, they will go to hell instead.

Hell In A Cell has always been an October event. WWE has promoted twelve Hell In A Cell events so far, and it has always been that way. 2018 saw the event on September 16th for some reason, but they have otherwise been October dates. Things changed in 2021, because Hell In A Cell will take place on June 20th.

It will be very interesting to see how this change goes on to shift other pay-per-view later in the year. Now they have to come up with something to do in October. The fact that WWE owns the name Halloween Havoc has not been lost on us.
