WWE was missing some key players backstage last week. Ringside News exclusively reported that Ed Koskey and Bruce Prichard were both absent for different reasons. They were also missing a very important WWE Official.

Adam Pearce was absent from SmackDown last week. According to Fightful Select, he was not there and that is why he wasn’t written into the show. Sonya Deville handled all of the necessary business.

Smackdown was short-handed all around last week. Adam Pearce didn’t appear on the episode of the show, and we’re told he was actually not there.

Due to so many names being absent, WWE had to make some late changes. Obviously, this isn’t the first time that WWE has needed to change things around with short notice.

They also called up Dave Kapoor from NXT to help out, and Triple H was there as well. We exclusively noted that Triple H’s contributions on SmackDown are very helpful.

We have not heard if there is a short-handed situation backstage for SmackDown this week. Keep checking back with Ringside News as we continue to monitor what’s going on.
