Chris Jericho hurt himself during the big Blood & Guts fall last week. He showed up on Dynamite with brace on his arm and that wasn’t just for show. Le Champion is really injured, but they booked a Stadium Stampede match anyway.

The Inner Circle will take on The Pinnacle at Double or Nothing in a Stadium Stampede match. If the Inner Circle loses then they must break up. It seems as though the writing is on the wall for an Inner Circle victory, but you never know what AEW has planned.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jericho’s current injury is a dislocated elbow. It is presumed that he will be able to work the Stadium Stampede match on May 30th, but he will likely stay out of any action until then.

Chris Jericho suffered a dislocated elbow in the fall off the cage at the end of the Blood & Guts match on 5/5. I presume he’s working Stadium Stampede based on the television angle but otherwise he’s out four to six weeks.

If Le Champion really must stay out of competition for the next four to six weeks, it could cause an issue for Double Or Nothing. Chris Jericho obviously wants to do that match so we will have to see what kind of compromise they can make to get around this situation.
